Hi, my name is Michaela, a health-conscious and energetic Personal Trainer from the U.K. I have lived in Switzerland for nearly 4 years now and very much enjoy the active and outdoor lifestyle that Switzerland offers me. The terrain and the environment in which we live offers unparalleled opportunities for all types of  workout training methods.I have long been into fitness however like many people I know it was more just a part of my weekly routine rather than a lifestyle choice. A couple of years ago, I was diagnosed with PCOS and this gave me, amongst other things problems with my skin, my metabolism, infertility and many more other symptoms.

It is certainly true to say that the development of the symptoms was a personal cause of concern which was only exacerbated by conversation with medical professionals that couldn’t offer me any further advice/support with regards to how I manage my symptoms and lead to a normal, healthy life.

This led me to undertake my own research and very quickly I realised that through a combination of a controlled diet and regular exercise that not only could I control my symptoms but that actually I could reverse them. After a few months of my new lifestyle my skin cleared up, I no longer suffered with bloating/stomach cramps on a daily basis and I found that I was able to manage and control my weight.

Now, I do realise that my situation is not applicable to everybody (although on average 1 in 10 women do suffer with PCOS, many of whom do not realise it) however I do truly believe that a healthy and active lifestyle is conducive to a better mental and physical state of well-being that ultimately promotes happiness and fulfillment.

Because of the personal journey that I myself have been on, I decided to setup a business to pass on my knowledge and experience which I aim to tailor to meet the requirements of all my clients whether they are young or old, healthy or unhealthy, motivated or unmotivated. I am here to help you become the best version of yourself.

I know myself that going to the weight section of the gym (with all the burly men grunting and posing) can be daunting but it doesn’t have to be and it is not the only way to train either! Through a combination of free weights, body-weight, cardiovascular, interval and many other training methods, we can design an effective routine that works for you and will have you feeling great in no time!!
